Please Support Essentially Men Movie Fundraiser

With only a week to go to our Movie Fundraising Get-Together, apologies for missing off some important details from my earlier email, such as:

“Jimmy’s Hall” is an inspirational tale of 1930s Ireland based on a true story of Jimmy Gralton, the only Irishman ever deported from Ireland.

This critically acclaimed movie (nominee for the Palme d’Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival) celebrates the spirit of free thinkers with Jimmy re-opening the ‘Hall’ for the local young people to meet, dance, study or talk.

But Jimmy’s radical ideas are not welcome by everyone in the village, raising political tensions between the Catholic Church, the State and the Republican Movement.
