Madeleine McCann: Convicted British paedophile once lived in New Zealand

A convicted British paedophile who once lived in New Zealand is being extradited from Malta for questioning over the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

British newspapers report Roderick Macdonald, 76, was living in the Portuguese city of Algarve in 2007 at the same time the three-year-old disappeared from her family’s holiday apartment.

It’s understood authorities want to question Macdonald about a possible pedophile ring that operated in Algarve when Madeleine vanished.The 76-year-old, who is also known as Roderick Robinson, was convicted in 2012 for abusing two girls in Brighton.
