SAD symptoms are usually mild to moderate, but they can become severe. The most common symptoms of SAD include:

  • Sadness
  • Hopelessness
  • Social withdrawal

  • Anxiety

  • Loss of interest in normally pleasurable activities (hobbies, socialization, etc.)
